WEB DESK: 3D printing is the latest buzz going on in the world of technology, with numerous videos on the internet showing some mind boggling stuff.

As the technology has shown tremendous industrial potential, United Arab Emirates has moved a step forward as it unveiled world’s first 3D-printed office building.

According to CNET, The 250-square-metre piece of land is what Dubai’s Museum of the Future project calling world’s first 3D-printed office building.

“We implement what we plan and we pursue actions not theories. The rapidly changing world requires us to accelerate our pace of development as history does not recognize plans but achievements,” Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said at the opening.

According to Engineering, the building termed as the “Office of the Future,” took over a year in making, with plans initiated in March 2015. The structure stands at 20-feet, 120-feet long and 40-feet wide.

The 3D-printed frame of the building is a composition of cement and a specialty building material produced in the Emirates and United States.
